Established over a decade ago, Women on a Mission Outreach Ministry Inc. is built on compassion and sustained by love.
It is said, history repeats itself. In the case of Women on a Mission Outreach Ministry Inc., its history grew from strength to strength. Women on a Mission Outreach Ministry, Inc. began over ten years ago from a deep passion and calling to reach hurting women, broken lives, the silent abused, mentally abused, and the rejected, to help women reach their full potential, and to empower them to believe in their ability to believe in themselves through the transforming power of the love of Jesus Christ.
It’s easy to say to someone, ‘I understand what you are going through’, but it’s totally different when you have experienced it. As with the movie entitled “Escape from Alcatraz”, I escaped from my Alcatraz — my life sentence of a shattered life and broken dreams. Once my freedom through the blood of Jesus Christ had come all the shackles of my life were broken and I was given the strength and the choice to walk in His redemptive power according to Isaiah 61:1: “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.”
Each passing day, my strength increased, through the Word of God, and I learned to accept the things I could not change, employed the courage to change the things I could, and leaned on the wisdom to know the difference. My mess has become a message and from the message, the birth of a ministry – Women on a Ministry Outreach Ministry, Inc.
